Overview
In this course, we'll read a wide range of literature including poems, short stories, plays, novellas, and novels. First and foremost, as we read these works, our goal is to both understand and enjoy the texts. As we do so, we'll discuss some of the major terms, methods, and concepts used by literary scholars, and we'll explore some of the social, cultural, and political contexts from which the works emerged.
