Members of NW DSM are automatically subscribed to the NW DSM mailing list. Members of the mailing list may post email messages to an email address then the message is sent out to all the subscribers of the list. Subscribers (NW DSM members) may respond to these messages simply by clicking reply on their email program.
Feel free to post anything regarding your DSM or any local happenings. Just remember to use common sense when posting. Keep in mind that there are multiple resources for information on these cars online and almost any question you have will already have been answered before. Take time to search national DSM message boards and you will find the answer to 99% of the questions you may have. The nwdsm yahoogroup is very inactive now, but it is still run with an iron fist. Expect posts with webspeak (lol, rofl, omfg!!!!11!!!1) to be met with swift humiliation and your removal from the list. Poor grammar and capitalization are equally frowned upon. Most of us on this list are interested in DSM's, not mailbox clutter, spam, or the ramblings of high school dropouts who think they own the road because they dropped $10k of pizza delivery tips into a $500 wreck of a DSM that runs high 13's. To post a message onto the live feed, simply send your message to: nwdsm@yahoogroups.com If you would like to be removed, resubscribe, change preference,or add another email address to the NW DSM live feed, please visit the Onelist website at: www.yahoogroups.com Click on User Center on the left frame. The default password is "nwdsm" You may now choose between a livefeed in which you will receieve an email each time someone makes a post, or a digest in which you will receieve one email per 25 messages or one email at the end of the day. The livefeed version will give you an average of 50-100 email messages a day, but the messages will arrive to you as soon as the post is made. The digest version will dramatically reduce the number of emails you get but you will not receive the posts as timely. You may choose between the livefeed or digest at the User Center at www.yahoogroups.com. |
