The SLU Equestrian Team is a student run organization/sport for all students who have ever ridden or are interested in riding. Created by Gwen Stair and Halley Richards, the SLU Equestrian Team's goal is to compete in the IHSA Midwest Circuit against schools like Washington University. The SLU team also aims to increase the knowledge of horses in the community and give children who do not have enough money to ride or who do not normally interact with horses a chance to fulfill the dream of riding and learning more about horses.
