1) What is PRO-AM Day?
PRO-AM Day is an event the SLU PR Club organizes for PR students and professionals across the region. Students attending are able to participate in the:
• General session with speakers discussing how to enter the field of PR
• Two breakout sessions, choosing from six different branches of PR
• Lunch with the St. Louis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America – students can dine and chat with members of the business world
• Resume review session or mock interview session (one-on-one with professionals)
• Agency job fair - of distinguished PR agencies in St. Louis. This year, the agencies are coming to us!
PRO-AM Day offers a great opportunity to meet with real-world professionals and talk one-on-one about your future career. The total cost for the day is $50 a person, plus $5 a car for parking. Hope to see you there!

3) What do I wear?
PRO-AM Day offers students the opportunity to interact with professionals, so professional attire is recommended. Many students wear suits, but that is not necessary. For the ladies, a blouse or sweater with nice pants or a long skirt works well. For the gentlemen, an Oxford with or without a tie will work, and a jacket is optional. Keep in mind that St. Louis is fairly chilly in February!
4) What should I bring?
You will be given a folder with a pen and small notepad upon arrival, so you don’t need to bring your own portfolio. Many students bring resumes for the one-on-one Resume Review session to get feedback for improvement or simply to hand out to potential employers.
5) How do I get there and where do I park?
