Perhaps the strongest part of the Pep Band is the select group of alumni still enjoy playing with the band after 10 or 15 years and they are still enjoying themselves! There is at least one alumni member in almost every instrument section. Whether they realize it or not, the alumni provide guidence and serve as role models to the undergraduates in the band. However, don't be fooled - these alumni can party harder than any undergraduate and know how to have a great time playing in the band! In the past, these dedicated alumni have even taken off work for a week to join the undergraduates on the conference tournaments during the month of March Madness! All alumni are always welcome to sit in with the band whenever they feel the urge.
