Who said differences weaken a group? The International Student Federation is an organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting differences in the SLU campus. The core of this organization is the international students that come to the SLU campus to study. But it draws its vitality and energy from everyone open to diversity, national and international alike.
We are a student-run organization that dedicates itself to the goal of promoting diversity and multicultural awareness on campus. Our main role is to serve as a forum for international students where we can come together to socialize, to share ideas and cultural experiences, to discuss concerns, and to coordinate activities that better our lives at Saint Louis University. Inherent in this is our belief that we can change attitudes and open minds through conscious efforts to cooperate, to interact, and to educate.
The next event that I would like to let you know about is the Billiken World Festival taking place on April 4th 2008. This is a carnival in the quad! For more info, I have created this website: BILLIKEN WORLD FESTIVAL HOMEPAGE
