Human resource management covers all aspects of how an organization manages its talent and workforce. This starts with how to attract and select applicants and encompasses the entirety of a person’s organizational career (e.g., compensation, training, evaluation, promotion and retention). The minor in human resource management at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business includes advanced courses in talent management and compensation. Students are encouraged to continue their learning outside the classroom with our chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and through internships.

Students must maintain a minimum 2.00 grade point average (GPA) in all courses used to fulfill minor requirements. If the minor GPA falls below a 2.00, students will have one semester to increase minor GPA to a 2.00 or students will not be allowed to enroll in 3000 and 4000 level minor courses.
